What first led Jean Banwarth to play the guitar are Woody Guthrie’s folksongs. He turned to folk dance
music
with the band HDCG ; then he specialized in Irish music. He has played in several bands (Ceol, Djal, Dédale, Goltraige) and duo with Sylvain Barou. For several years, he has been working on teaching, with the writing of a method about Irish music accompaniment on the guitar.
